The first few mounds have been handed over to the community and they’re already proving a hit! Sunbathing, picnicking, fell running (well, sort of!) – the community is proving to be most inventive with how they use them!

The first lot of equipment has also now been concreted in place and we are waiting the imminent arrival of the mature trees and the bespoke climbing frame, which will really start to bring this playscape to life.

Register for the Shelford Fun Run!

10.30am, Sunday 26th September

This is a super friendly family 5k that school aged children can successfully run or walk, plus it’s raising money for the next phase of the Playscape: a really cool mini-skatepark (or wheelscape as we like to call it!). A fast and flat course on closed roads it’s also a great one if you’re an avid runner and want to beat your personal best.

Please register in advance as we are unlikely to be able to take on the day entries this year – PLUS to guarantee a medal for your efforts we order the medals this month, so sign-up ASAP!
