Playscape: Happy New Year!

Thank you for all of your support in 2018. It was great to see so many of you at the Lights
Switch on too, although we will definitely be buying A LOT more wine next year – sorry to
those at the back of the queue when we sold out!

Wonderfully we received another £1000 donation last month for the Playscape and a £250
feast grant that will go towards painting the Shelter. What a fantastic community we live in!

Last year I wrote that we were hoping to have a Playscape by now. It’s not happened as
quickly as we would like, however we are still “proceeding as though success is inevitable”
and so our goals for this year are:

Paint the shelter
Sow more wild flower seeds
Extend the wildlife hedge at the top of the rec
Finalise the fundraising target
Launch a new fundraising push
Identify other grant or funding opportunities
Organise the Fun Run…
…Build a Playscape!

Playscape c/o The Vicarage, 12 Church St. Great Shelford, CB22 5EL or email a scanned
copy to info@shelfordplayscape.org by 11th January and you could see your ideas become
a reality!
